Expansion
Distance covered with a single crank revolution

Current value
The “expansion” value indicates the number of feet the cyclist has travelled with a single crank revolution
Average
Average expansion during the trip
Average uphill
Average expansion of the uphill distance

Gear ratio comparison
Knowing the expansion makes it possible to detect duplicate gear ratio.
The expansion value can only change when a gear change occurs.

Example
Expansion is an indicator of the amount of force being applied to the pedals. The greater the expansion the harder the gear. For example, a high expansion + a low cadence (60-70 rpm) = strength endurance riding.
